The Sunday Post was first reported Trump may be planning to flee the United States later this month. The Scottish newspaper said that a military plane used by the president from time to time is scheduled to arrive at Glasgow Prestwick airport near the Trump resort on January 19, the day before Biden’s inauguration.

White House press secretary Kylie McNani said Trump “has no plans to travel to Scotland” after the White House declined to comment on the Sunday Post reports. Trump planned to visit Turnberry after the 2016 elections because he assumed he would lose the race to Hillary Clinton, The New York Times reportedQuoting former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci.

The president, who refused to concede his election loss, has not said whether he will attend Biden’s inauguration or reveal where he will go once he becomes president. NBC News mentioned Trump was considering announcing his presidential run for 2024 on Inauguration Day, while other media outlets have reported that Trump will do so.
